Our Green for Good program is funded annually with nearly $900,000 in savings from HanesBrands’ recycling programs, and we put that money to good use – as we have for the last decade.
Since the program’s founding, Green for Good has enabled health clinic renovations, paid for well over 1,000 life-changing surgical procedures, provided 5,300 people in the Dominican Republic and Honduras with access to medical services, and sponsored dozens of schools across El Salvador, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Thailand and Vietnam. Green for Good has also worked internally at HanesBrands, supporting thousands of our employees and their family members in completing high school and college programs.
As HanesBrands’ sustainability efforts ramp up even farther, funding for Green for Good will grow, and we’re excited to learn who our efforts will help next, worldwide.
