Our Relationship with Nature
We recognize that our business is deeply connected to the natural world. As an apparel company, we rely on essential natural resources – like cotton, water and energy – to create the products our consumers love.
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our efforts to responsibly source cotton, minimize water use, and transition to renewable energy across our operations.
To better understand our relationship with nature, we will conduct a materiality assessment aligned to the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). This will allow us to evaluate our most significant impacts and dependencies on nature across our value chain. The insights gained will inform how we manage nature-related risks and opportunities and guide the development of future goals and targets. We are committed to transparency and will report our findings, using them as a foundation for setting science-informed, nature-positive targets that further integrate environmental stewardship into our business strategy.

Since 2010, HBI has led long-term environmental initiatives focused on reforestation and community collaboration.
Through strategic partnerships with local environmental organizations, HBI oversees that trees are not only planted—but also nurtured and protected for years after. With more than 237,000 trees planted across the globe through these partnerships, the collective impact meaningfully contributes to healthier ecosystems and a more sustainable future.
