Setting the Standard with the Higg Index

How we’re using the Higg Index to improve our sustainability standards across our entire supply chain.
The Higg Index gives companies a standardized way to measure their environmental sustainability and show whether or not they’re improving over time. The Higg Facility Environmental Module (FEM) offers standardized environmental assessments to help improve every tier in the global value chain.
In support of our goals, our global sustainability team set out to register and conduct Higg self-assessments of all owned facilities and key contractors. This involved educating internal and contracted facilities on the Higg Index, evaluating adding Higg scores to overall vendor evaluations, and setting up tracking methods for the Higg FEM.

As a result in 2023, 305 facilities completed the self-assessment FEM module last year. We believe Higg assessments will add real value to our environmental efforts.
