Hanes Australasia and Ovarian Cancer Australia Partner to Fight Cancer Below the Belt
PEOPLE STORIES
Ovarian cancer is Australia’s deadliest female cancer, with a five-year survival rate of just 48%.
Hanes Australasia (Bonds, Jockey and Bras N Things) and Ovarian Cancer Australia (OCA) teamed up to fight back by raising $300,000 through their ‘Take on Cancer in Your Undies’ campaign. The campaign sold over 49,000 pairs of underwear in teal (the official color of ovarian cancer) to raise funds and spread awareness about this devastating disease. 100% of profits went directly to OCA to continue their advocacy for women with ovarian cancer, develop better treatment options, fund research and support women impacted by this disease.
