Health Fairs in Latin America Improve Wellness of Over 1,300 People
October 2025
More than 1,300 people received free-of-charge medical and wellness care at HBI-hosted health fairs in El Salvador and Honduras.
Two successful health fairs were held to promote health, prevention and well-being in the communities where we operate, benefiting HBI associates and their families.
In Villanueva, Honduras, 902 people received general consultation and specialized care in orthopedics, gynecology, dentistry, pediatrics, capillary dermatology, psychology, and vaccination. 400 medication kits were distributed according to each patient’s diagnosis.
Meanwhile, in San Juan Opico, El Salvador, 478 medical consultations were provided, such as dental cleanings, therapeutic massages, general medicine, pediatrics, nutrition, HIV testing, optical services, facials, and more.
The fairs also offered children’s entertainment areas where kids enjoyed movies, frozen treats, and a variety of interactive activities.
“At HBI, we believe in building community and supporting the health and wellness needs of our associates by donating the resources and tools that they may not otherwise have access to,” Freddy Vanderpool, Director of Human Resources, said.
Our health and wellness initiatives help us work toward our goal of positively impacting the lives of at least 500,000 individuals per year. Read more on our People page.
