To help our associates report ethical or conduct concerns, we maintain toll-free resource lines and a dedicated email address that are available to all HanesBrands global associates 24/7, 365 days a year, answered in 14 languages by third-party provider Navex Global.

The system got its start more than 25 years ago, and the toll-free number for each country is typically listed on associates’ work badges for easy access.

When an associate makes a report, Navex immediately notifies a dedicated team in the United States. This team triages each case and assigns it locally to trained investigators in its global Code of Conduct Officer network. Every case, no matter how small, is fully investigated, elevated as appropriate to members of management and brought to proper closure.

When people see something, they need to be able to say something – easily, effectively and anonymously if necessary.

We also maintain strong policies forbidding retaliation against associates who come forward in good faith. We provide anti-retaliation training across our global operations and have terminated associates for retaliating against reporters even when the underlying complaint was not substantiated.

The Navex system collates a broad range of data, such as issue type, country of reporting, whether the reporter was identified or anonymous, and whether the complaint was substantiated after investigation.
